Don't you just love taste? Singapore Airport Style!
Can you imagine living like this? I can't!
We enjoyed our night with Dee and John and gossiped long and hard. Their apartment has a magnificent view over the city lights and it was beautifully furnished in Dee’s wonderful style. All too soon it was time for a quick trip in a taxi which took us back to our hotel for our last night. Then it was off to Changi for the flight home. We had many hours to spare and enjoyed our last moments of the “2010 experience”.
Sydney at 6:30 am was a great sight to see and within a couple of hours we had cleared immigration, customs and Central railway and were heading back up our own little hills. By 10:30 we were home! We were very, very grateful to Di who prepared our evening meal for us and delivered it ready to warm up and eat. It came complete with a real Australian salad – one of the things we sorely missed while we were away.
What had we learned from our experiences? – too many things to tell here! Suffice it to say that we had the “bestest, bestest time” together – it is good to have a real friend to travel with and we never even argued one. Miracles do happen!!!!!!!
